ThermoCouche (TM) – Insulating, through-coloured render

ThermoCouche (TM) is the breakthrough new render product from ProofShield.  Combining the very best characteristics of modern, one coat renders with the legendary insulating performance of our ProofTherm range, ThermoCouche is the first through-coloured, insulating render that can be applied in one simple coat to provide an insulated, decorative and hard-wearing finish all in one application.

Modern render systems and products have two key characteristics: They’re weatherproof and they’re decorative. ThermoCouche entirely redefines what can be expected from a render product. With its silicone and anti-algae formulation it provides exceptional long-term protection from the elements and comes in 24 standard colours, but in addition, ThermoCouche also incorporates high-performance insulating aggregates that significantly reduce heat loss through the walls.

ThermoCouche is applied in exactly the same way as any other “scratch” or “monocouche” type render (e.g. Krend). It’s ultra-lightweight formulation means that one 20kg covers 2m2 at a typical application thickness of 15mm so you’ll need less bags to complete your project in comparison with other renders.
